Traditional RIB’s are mostly made from fiberglass and PVC tubing, which means everything except the tubing is fiberglass including seats and consoles making them extremely heavy. Why is this so important; pre 4 stroke motors was not an issue, with newer EPA regulations, 4 strokes motors weigh in close to twice the weight of traditional 2 stroke, the heavier the boat materials the more HP needed to plane the boat, more HP means a heavier engine and more difficult to plane. Our boats are built to a specific HP to weight ratio and made from ultra lightweight aluminum, shaving 100’s of pounds off the total weight of the boat, allowing for a smaller HP motor without sacrificing speed and torque.
HYPALON and ORCA material. All RIB-IT boats are made from the highest quality materials and built to last, we use absolutely no PVC in our builds. Your Typical RIB is made from PVC which has a life expectancy of 3-5 years and less if exposed to prolonged UV. Why pay 12-30k for a boat that will need to be re-tubed within 36 months costing anywhere from $3,000-5,000 depending upon the size of the boat. Life expectancy with HYPALON is in the 15 year range if cared for properly as well as greater resale value.
Rib-It uses a nationwide network of certified carriers using a bidding platform to get the lowest delivery cost for our customers. We are 100% transparent with the invoice and allow the customer to pay the carrier directly, and do not add any additional fees.
If the RIB is being delivered without a trailer, we will put it on a skid and the delivery location would need to have a forklift to offload,

Rib-It will replace any component of boat with the exception of the motor at our cost for the lifetime of the original purchaser. For example, if the sponsons (tubes) need to be replaced, we will print them at our factory and ship to the customers’ location at our cost.
